The Devil Inside

Mary Malone was annoyed at Mick, her husband. Night after night he would be drinking at the pub, rolling home at midnight, breaking the china and making a racket. So Mary Malone went to Father Geraghty and asked for advice.
'Till ye what ye must do,' said the priest kindly. 'Ye must be scarin' the livin' dayloits out of him! I suggest ye dress up as the divil himself, and wait for Mick by the cemetery on his way home. Tell him you have come to meet him! That ought to do it.'
'Thank you, Father Geraghty,' said Molly gratefully. She set about making herself a red suit, with big horns for the head and a long forked tail. When it was done, she waited till midnight that night, dressed in her new suit, and went down to wait in the cemetery to catch Mick on his way home.
Sure enough, Mick came weaving into sight, singing some old ditty. Then he saw this apparition emerging from the darkness, and he stood stock still.
'Mick Malone, I have come to Meeeeeeet Ye,' said Mary in a hollow, sepulchral tone.
'Whooooo is it?' cried Mick in alarm.
'I am the deeeeeeeeviiiiil,' cried Mary, waving her arms about.
Mick scratched his head and grinned, then held out his hand.
''Tis pleased to meet ye, I am,' he said. 'For I'm married to your sister!'
